Fusion Students - Nottingham

Sev UK was proud to be appointed by Spiral Joinery to deliver bespoke joinery for the striking Fusion Students accommodation in Nottingham, a landmark development constructed by Bowmer + Kirkland.

Project Overview

Fusion Students Nottingham offers stylish, high-quality student living in the heart of the city. The design of the communal spaces called for premium, standout joinery elements that would complement the building's modern aesthetic and vibrant social atmosphere.

Our Scope

Working closely with Spiral Joinery, Sev UK manufactured and supplied a wide range of bespoke joinery for the communal areas, including:

• Reception Area: The centrepiece of the project – a dramatic, floating half tree trunk effect reception desk crafted and suspended from the ceiling, blending natural textures with innovative design.
• Bar and Coffee Lounge: Tailored joinery to create a welcoming, social space for residents.
• Laundry Room Table: Durable and stylish furniture that reflects the overall design language.
• Breakout and Meeting Areas: Custom-built joinery for informal collaboration and relaxation zones including banquet seating.

Collaboration and Delivery

This project required meticulous planning and coordination. We worked in close partnership with Spiral Joinery to ensure seamless integration of our work within the overall construction programme. Our team delivered all joinery elements on time and to the highest standard, supporting Spiral Joinery’s expert installation on site.
